Lake Como Orlando is a quiet neighborhood just South East of Downtown Orlando. The neighborhood is intersected by Lake Como Park and Bumby Ave. You'll know you have arrived whe you see the lion sculpture as you head into the neighborhood. It was donated and placed in the park in 1985!  

Lake Como is a relatively affordable Downtown Orlando neighborhood because it sits a little east of the main business district. The neighborhood has a mix of 1940s bungalows, 1950s ranch homes, 1960s ranch homes with modern touches, and even a few Victorian style homes. 

The diverse mix of architectural styles creates a beautiful setting filled with large Oak trees and a lovely park surrounding Lake Como.  The beautiful Park surrounding the lake with a sidewalk trail perfect for walking the dog!

According to the 2010 Census about 776 people reside in Lake Como "proper" between Primrose Dr. and Hampton Ave. and Anderson St. and Gore St. However, the City considers Lake Como to encompass a few surrounding streets as well.

This Downtown neighborhood is just minutes from the Central Business district, the Downtown South Main Street District, the "Milk District", and the Conway area.   Lake Como is within biking distance to Downtown Orlando, SODO shopping and Dining, and a few hidden gems along Curry Ford Rd., Primrose Dr., and Bumby Ave as well. 

Lake Como Neighborhood in Downtown Orlando has a Facebook Group residents may join to learn about upcoming events and share ideas with neighbors. It's a very friendly 'hood that looks out for one another. The neighborhood watch block captains distribute a newsletter that we sponsor every month to the residents in the Lake Como "proper" area featuring neighborhood tips, market news, and upcoming events. The neighborhood has several annual events - a huge Halloween Party, Holiday Tree Lighting and Luminaries, and an annual Easter Egg Hunt. Each Month residents meet at the Lake for a gathering called the 2nd Saturday.
