Colonialtown consists of two established neighborhoods located North and South of Colonial Drive (HWY 50) in the Downtown Orlando area.  Mills 50 main street district is the business association supporting local shops and restaurants within these neighborhoods.

Colonialtown is a relatively affordable location for the Downtown Orlando area.  The smaller bungalow homes are priced higher per sq. ft. when compared with the average in Orlando; but the sales are typically  more affordable than some other Downtown neighborhoods.  Many of the Bungalows have been restored to the original aesthetic with cozy rooms, hardwood floors, and fireplaces.  Both are quiet neighborhoods with the convenience of urban life just blocks away.

This area offers a convenient location to all the luxuries Downtown Orlando offers with the quaint and charming architecture of the early and mid 1900s.  Colonialtown North is filled with Bungalow and Craftsman Style homes of the 1920s-40s and some newer traditional construction that is larger and 2 stories.  Colonialtown South is filled with some traditional Orlando bungalows and quite a few  block style bungalows and ranch homes built in the 1950s.  These neighborhoods offer great architecture and large oak trees shading medium sized lots.  The homes can range in price depending on square footage, size or features of the lot, and whether the home has been updated recently.

Colonialtown North is the neighborhood located North of Colonial Dr. (HWY 50) in Downtown Orlando.  Over 2700 residents call this area home and enjoy its tree lined streets and close proximity to restaurants and local shops on Mills Ave. and Virginia Dr.

Colonialtown South is located to the South of Colonial Dr.  It is a smaller area with only a little over 1300 residents.  Residents of this area enjoy the shops and restaurants lining Colonial Dr. and Bumby Ave.  It is within walking and biking distance to Lake Eola and the Central Business District.
