Thornton Park is an established neighborhood located to the East of the Central Business District in Downtown Orlando.   The neighborhood is known for the beautifully restored Bungalows from the early to mid 1900s, trendy shops and restaurants, and it's close proximity to Lake Eola.

Thornton Park is a highly sought after neighborhood and therefore the home values are a bit higher in this area compared to other neighborhoods in Downtown.  Most of the homes have been restored and have kept the look and feel of the original bungalow and craftsman styles.  The historic brick lined streets of Washington St. and Summerlin Ave. are now filled with modern boutiques and delicious eateries.  It is a very walkable area only blocks from Lake Eola and the center of Downtown's business district.

Thornton Park has it all!  The conveniences of urban life are just steps away; but yet the homes offer a charming look into the history of Orlando.  The homes can range in size; but are very cozy spaces typical of the original bungalows in the early to mid 1900s.  The homes can range in price depending on square footage, size or features of the lot, and whether the home has been updated recently.  In this area of town you will pay a higher price per sq. ft. because of the proximity to Downtown.
